PUMA Faas 100 TR Men's Trail Running Shoes

Built for the trail runner who's looking to feel light, fast, and the earth beneath his feet. With the least amount of cushioning in the Faas running range, the Faas 100 TR is built more as a racing shoe than an everyday trail running shoe. Case in point? Its 0mm heel to toe drop intended to help strengthen a runner's feet and lower extremities over time. But its earthCELL traction and durable, protective upper means it can stand up to whatever the great outdoors decides to dish out. 30 DAY TEST RUN: Go ahead. Get them dirty. Put them through their paces. If you aren’t 100% satisfied, you can return these shoes within 30 days of purchase using our normal returns process. Features: Lightweight, protective single layer mesh upper for breathability and protection Welded toe for optimum protection on the trails earthCELL designation for multi-directional lugs, enhanced traction, and durable upper materials that provide protection no matter what the terrain or weather Toggle bungee lace for a snug, secure fit Bootie construction with gusseted tongue for a secure fit and to reduce debris Internal suede midfoot EverFit structure for lightweight stability Molded high-rebound EcoOrthoLite® sockliner for breathability, comfort, and fit Lightweight FaasFoam+ one-piece midsole (PUMA's new proprietary blend of foam and rubber) for improved resilience and increased step-in comfort Enhanced flexibility at outsole for a smooth toe-off EverTrack high abrasion resistant rubber featured in high wear areas for added durability Multi-directional lugs for traction in all types of terrain Heel pull tab for easy on/off PUMA Formstrip at medial and lateral sides PUMA Cat Logo at tongue and woven PUMA Cat Logo label at lateral side Heel to toe drop: 0mm Weight: 6.4 ounces (size 9)

The mesh is far to thin and breaks easily!

I've used this shoes mostly to train in a gym, most of the time not moving a whole lot my feet. But recently I noticed that the mesh started ripping. I've been a Nike fan for long time and wanted to deviate a bit from them by buying Puma shoes, as I used to use in the past. I was promised a long lasting shoe and a good trainer as well when I bought them, they sure are good trainers but they have a different point of view than me on the "long-lasting" part.

Product had good quality, but was to narrow for my foot. I was unable to place on feet, so I could not judge the comfort. I had to return the shoe , the same day I got them. I am disgusted, and feel let down.

I wear a 12 shoe and the Puma 12 was spot on. I always order a 13 from Nike for the same fit. Very comfortable but have not run with them on trails yet due to the snow here in Ohio. A thin mesh material keeps the shoe very light but without a tongue the shoe is a little tight to put on. Once on the feel is great.

Absolutely the best pair of running shoes I have purchased. These shoes fit like a glove, well actually like a sock, but a ton of room in the toe box. Very light weight and flexible for a trail shoe. Not a big fan of the color but they are not as loud as I thought they would be. I would even purchase more of these shoes. I like them that much..

Very comfortable! The lack of a difference in height between the heel and forefoot is perfect. By landing on the forefoot I have had no physical problems with my lower body. When I was 40 I had two Achilles tendon tears and separations. Until I started using Zero drop I have gone from 30 miles per week to 50 miles in two months and intend to keep increasing my miles until 100 miles by 6 months before the Pikes Peak ascent in 2015.

I'm a big fan of the Faas 100 TR. They have just enough cushion to protect, but every other part of the ground you can feel. These shoes are like lo profile tires. In some ways I find them energizing. Love them. I wish they has some less flashy colors, so I could get away with wearing them to work. Did I say I love them yet?
