Built for the trail runner who's looking to feel light, fast, and the earth beneath her feet. With the least amount of cushioning in the Faas running range, the Faas 100 TR is built more as a racing shoe than an everyday trail running shoe. Case in point? Its 0mm heel to toe drop intended to help strengthen a runner's feet and lower extremities over time. But its earthCELL traction and durable, protective upper means it can stand up to whatever the great outdoors decides to dish out. 30 DAY TEST RUN: Go ahead. Get them dirty. Put them through their paces. If you aren’t 100% satisfied, you can return these shoes within 30 days of purchase using our normal returns process.

Great shoe for those who want the barefoot running experience without the pain on your feet!
PostedFebruary 8, 2014
These shoes provide a hefty sole (for minimal running shoes) that are optimal for those who run on the dirt. The 0mm foot drop meets requirements for the "barefoot" running experience, with the sole preventing pain from rocks and other "bumps" in the path.

Review 2 for Faas 100 TR Women's Trail Running Shoes
Perfect shoe in theory, but I found the fit, quality and price to be a complete disappointment even though I got it half off. I wear a size 8.5W but ordered an 8.5 and 9 in black and an 8.5 in blue.
Out of the box I fell in love with the 0 drop, the gorgeous pink and black contrast, the super light weight, the breathability and everything else about the design of the shoe, but the love was short-lived. It's a slip-on with a one-piece collar and tongue, exactly like a water shoe. The collar opening is very small, mainly because the tongue is too long or cut too shallow and has a painful reinforced seam at top that made the shoe impossible to wear for long, and the opening has virtually no stretch. Adjusting the laces and using the back tab didn't help, I couldn't get either 8.5 on with a medium sock and struggled to get the 9 black on my bare feet using a shoehorn and the back tab. Once I got it on, the tongue cut painfully into my front ankle, I'm 5'1" and 120lbs, even my BF could see how far dug in it was. Sitting with my foot pointed to alleviate pressure did not help, the tongue's reinforced seam at the shoe opening was still sharp and painful. It was worse with a flexed foot so walking and doing a test jog hurt, a lot. My insole was also in pain though the shoe waist was perfect size even for my width. Once I took the shoes off I realized the tongue had stopped circulation to my foot!
The 9 left a lot of room in the toe so I'd say the shoe ran true-to-size. The tongue needs to be cut and curved at the ankle and the seam much more flexible and soft. The collar opening needs width and stretch, seriously. Also the stitching connecting the reinforced rubber strip at the forefoot looked a bit flimsy and the formstrip slightly puckered over the mesh, like it would disintegrate quickly. The blue was less iridescent than the picture and more standard grey-blue. I liked the blue color well enough, the fit was the same as the black.
The black shoe looks absolutely amazing, chic and trendy and could be worn anywhere. The width and length, beyond the other issues, were perfect. The fit was a bit tight, but not uncomfortable. The toebox was roomy and the shoe looked great on my foot so I'm very disappointed. I seriously wanted to love it but can't recommend the current design. If even just the fit issues I had were fixed, I would gladly re-buy at full price.
