The '70s dawned with culture-clashers, sport legends, and court-turned-sidewalk sneakers. Not least of which was the PUMA Suede. Even basketball great Walt "Clyde" Frazier wanted in, snagging himself a custom-made pair that was lighter, wider, and stamped with his moniker. The Suede and the Clyde carved a niche in basketball's playbooks, and quickly took over city blocks from the US to the UK. The women's Glyde Lite is extra heavy on heritage and light on weight. It inherited its predecessors' swagger and glory – from silhouette to tread pattern – but carves out its own legacy with a summery, engineered mesh upper. Its outsole is packed with lightweight cushioning and equipped with rubber inserts for traction. Features:
Nylon mesh upper
Lace closure for a snug fit
Lightweight, injection molded EVA midsole
Rubber inserts at outsole for traction
PUMA Formstrip at medial and lateral sides
PUMA callout at tongue and lateral side
Weight: 4 ounces (size 7)

Was looking for more of a court shoe style. To my surprise, it is more of a very casual summer shoe. The upper material is only a mesh layer no lining, and has a light weight comfy sole. They run a bit narrow, and a bit short. Flip side is that they pleasantly have become a favorite summer shoe to wear with no socks and keeps feet cool with nice air flow at every step. Order a 1/2 size bigger if you plan to wear socks. I ordered them in the Grey and Coral color - a must have this season!
